Question: Can you put butter and chocolate chips in the mixture for the pancakes?

Answer: You can put butter as it will give extra flavor into it. On the other hand, It is possible for you to add chocolate chips into the mixture. However, I won't recommend it because it will melt right away as soon as it touches the bottom of the pan.

Answer: Yes using the ratio of 3 baking powder to 1 baking soda. Example: If the recipe calls for 3 teaspoon of baking powder, you may replace it with 1 teaspoon of baking soda.

Answer: Yes, you can add both into the mixture. In some recipes, butter is added into the pancake mixture as an oil alternative.
